Kilkeel Premises Ransacked By Burglars

Detectives are investigating the report of a burglary at residential premises in the Newry Road area of Kilkeel, yesterday, Monday 23rd March.

Detective Constable Michael Brannigan said: “It was reported sometime between 10.30am and 4.30pm entry was forced into a house in the area. The property was ransacked and a quantity of jewellery was reported stolen.

“I am appealing for anyone with any information or who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact detectives in Ardmore on 101 quoting reference 924 23/03/20. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
