Ardglass Golf Club Captain Macartan Bryce welcomed the prize winners for over the past year at the club.
He said: “The club is growing from strength to strength and and the standard of golf here is high. I’d like to congratulate you all on your successes. It is always a pleasure to see members receive their prizes, and we have two cups which go back over a hundred years. The Challenge Cup was introduced in 1898 but was lost and turned up in England and was kindly returned to the club decades later which was very heartening.
“I’d like to thank you all for turning out of such a stormy night and I know you are all looking forward again to next season.”
