Lions Present £1000 to Downpatrick PIPS

Downpatrick Lions Club members have presented a cheque for £1,000 to Downpatrick PIPS.

The money was donated during a recent street collection and quiz night organised by the Lions Club and handed over to founder member and volunteer Josephine McAteer.

Josephine said: “We really appreciate this contribution from Downpatrick Lions and these funds will go a long way to financing the counselling that PIPS provides which now includes a Mindfulness Workshop for 4-12 year olds.
