At the recent Ambassador Awards for Newry Mourne and Down District Council, the Council Chairman, Councillor Mark Murnin presented an award to Paul Taggart Paul, Chairman of Crossgar Youth League who has worked tirelessly over the years to improve the quality of life for the youth of the area.
Paul was also instrumental in forming Crossgar Community Association in 2012, bringing local people together to work towards benefiting the Crossgar community.Â
Chairman Mark Murnin also presented an Ambassador Award to Noel Ellison, a native of Crossgar. Noel, a landscape gardener has played a valuable role in community life within the village by always seeking to make a contribution in a voluntary capacity to transform the village with hanging baskets, flower beds, and litter picking.
