Sinn Féin Cllr John Rice has called on Ulsterbus to fix and make safe a bus shelter on the Drumnaquoile Road near Drumaroad.
The Sinn Féin councillor said: “The shelter on the Drumnaquoile Road was bady damaged when a large tree fell onto it during the last storm a number of weeks ago.
“This shelter had been used by large numbers of school children but now parents are very much concerned if the structure is still safe.
“I will be contacting Ulsterbus as well as Transport NI in order to see repairs carried out on this bus shelter as soon as possible due to the worsening weather.”
