Man Arrested After Ardglass Robbery At Knifepoint

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at business premises on the Downpatrick Road in Ardglass in the early hours of this morning (Monday 22nd October) have made an arrest.

The 18- year old male was arrested in the Ardglass area earlier this evening on suspicion of robbery.xa0 He remains in police custody at this time.

Detectives continue to appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 178 22/10/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
