Ballynahinch RFC Rugby Round-up.
25th August 2018.
Club Notes.
An excellent win for the 1st XV at home to City of Armagh saw Hinch hit the ground running as they prepare for another tough season in Division 1B. The team built on last weeks friendly win over Ballymena to claim a bonus point win over the defending SONI Premiership champions and there was much to encourage Brian McLaughlin and his coaching team.
The 2nd XV opened their Conference League programme with an excellent win at Portadown. 10-nil down approaching half time, they fought back well to win 31 -15, with tries from McCoubrey, Cooper and a Gill hat trick.
Mini rugby returns on Saturday morning from 9.30-11am. Boys and girls from P1 – Yr8 are all welcome, with training run for each age group in their school year. Mini rugby news is posted weekly on the club Facebook page:
