Cllr John Rice has welcomed new measures aimed at improving road safety within the village of Seaforde

The Sinn Féin Councillor said: “The Department for Infrastructure has announced that in the interest of pedestrian road safety that they will be creating a new ‘road island’ as well as extending a pre-existing island already located in the village.

“This is very good news. Seaforde is a very busy village in terms of traffic flow coming through it. These new measures are intended to keep all residents of the area safe.”
