Man Dies On Castlewellan Dublin Road

Gary Lennon, who died in a traffic accident on Thursday night.

Police have confirmed a 45-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on the Dublin Road, Castlewellan last night, Thursday 31 May.

Gary Lennon, who was driving a blue-coloured BMW Series 3, died as a result of the single vehicle collision, which was reported to police at aroundxa010pm.

Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Dublin Road around the time of the collision and who witnessed anything, or anyone who may have a dash cam fitted in their vehicle to check their footage and contact local officers or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference number 1451 of 31/05/18.
