Castlewellan Company Wins Top Balmoral Show Award

Castlewellan-based chilled and frozen food producer TS Foods are delighted to announce that they have taken home the top prize in their category – Excellence in Product Innovation – at this years Henderson’s Fresh Innovation Awards.
The Fresh Innovation Awards are designed to showcase Henderson’s hugely diverse and extensive portfolio of local suppliers who year on year provide exceptional products and new ranges for their customers.
TS Foods wins a top award at the Balmoral show.
Held at a breakfast ceremony at the Balmoral Show recently, the family-run company received the accolade for their Ann’s Kitchen brand which was developed in partnership with Henderson’s and launched in stores last September.
The Ann’s Kitchen range offers a range of fish-based meal centres including Breaded Whiting Fillets, Cod Filet-O-Fish and Codbites – which all provide a deliciously convenient solution for mealtimes. Due to the success of the range, the company is currently developing new products which will be added to the range over the coming months.
Joanne Molloy, Managing Director of TS Foods, said: “We are immensely proud to have been not only considered for these awards but for actually taking home the trophy on the day!
“The award is testament to fact that we have a very strong New Product Development team who are dedicated to producing the very finest of products to meet our customers exacting expectations”.
Ann’s Kitchen products are now available not only in Henderson’s SPAR, EUROSPAR and ViVo stores but also Centra and SuperValu outlets across NI.
