Rice To Raise Carnreagh Flooding With DFI Roads

Slieve Croob Sinn Féin Cllr John Rice will join MP Chris Hazzard for a
meeting with Dept for Infrastructure Roads.

Cllr Rice said: “I will be raising the issue of continual flooding on the
Carnreagh road.

“I have recently visited residents of the road and heard first-hand the problems they encounter after each spell of heavy sustained afterxa0rainfall.

“Carers attending elderly, school runs and getting to work are just some of the daily tasks that become a lengthy round trip for these residents.

Rice added: “I will be asking DFI Roads to assess the area andxa0 find a
lasting resolution.”
