On Thursday 16xa0November at Clare Lodge in Newcastle from 10.30-12.30pm, the Community Development Health Network xa0(CDHN) will facilitate a morning workshop on co-production as part of the Newry Mourne & Down District Council’s Social Enterprise Newry Mourne Down Programme.
This will be an interactive session to discuss the principles of co-production and how they can be embedded into current working practice.
Co-production will present opportunities for community, voluntary and social enterprises to help co-design, co-produce and co-deliver services. Linked to The Programme for Government and Community Planning co-production is a new form of partnership that may hold the key to radically change how public services are delivered in Northern Ireland and is linked in to
Co-production is used as a way of working in many areas ie local government, education and health. CDHN has worked with a number of organisations and communities to build their understanding of co-production to influence health and wellbeing atxa0 local and community levels.
