Police Appeal After Spa Burglary

Downpatrick police are appealing for information following a burglary of a house in the Spa Grange area of Ballynahinch on Thursday, 26 October.

Detective Constable Brannigan said: “It was reported that shortly before 8:40pm persons gained entry to the premises by smashing a rear door of the house but were disturbed by members of the public and made off from the property.

“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident or anyone who may be offered similar items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact detectives on 101 quoting 1319 26/10/17.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
