Ulster Hospital Wins Award For Obstetrics And Gynae

The Ulster Hospital has been awarded a top gong for one of its training units.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Training Unit in the Ulster Hospital has been rated as one of the Top 10 in the UK and ‘outstanding’ by The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

All trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Ulster Hospital were asked to complete an in depth training survey by the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. The results of this put three of the five Trusts in Northern Ireland in the top 10 performing Trusts for training across the whole of the UK.

Dr Caroline Bryson, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist/College Tutor said, “The South Eastern Trust were ranked third overall in the UK. This is not only an excellent achievement for the South Eastern Trust but also for the Southern and Northern Trusts.”
