Trackars On Track For Cancer Fund for Children

Trackars Healthcare, a healthcare company based in Downpatrick, Crossgar and Belfast, has raised £551 for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.

Members of staff from the company, along with friends and family, completed a sponsored walk around the lake in Castlewellan Forest Park this summer.

The money will be donated to Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, a respite centre for young cancer sufferers and their families. xa0NI Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional and financial support to children and young people aged 0 to 24 affected by cancer and their families in the recently completed state-of-the art centre on the Bryansford Road in Newcastle overlooking the magnificent Mourne Mountains.

This is the first of a number of charity initiatives that Trackars Healthcare has planned for the year, and the company is planning to keep ‘on track’ with its fundraising efforts in the communities which it serves.

Founded in 2006 by Patricia Casement, a Registered Nurse, Trackars provides healthcare and nursing services to users throughout Northern Ireland as well as providing staffing solutions to the many of the Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.
