David Healy Says Take A Hike Up Donard For Tiny Life

The sky is the limit for footballing duo David Healy, the highest goal scorer for Northern Ireland and Caragh Milligan from Lisburn, the youngest ever footballer to represent a Northern Ireland International team.

And the sky could be your limit too if you join TinyLife, Northern Ireland’s premature and sick baby charity for this year’s Slieve Donard Challenge.

David Healy said: “As a long standing patron of the charity, I would urge local people to sign up for this year’s climb up the iconic Slieve Donard which is Northern Ireland’s highest mountain, reaching a staggering 850 metres above sea level taking in some of the most spectacular views of our beautiful country.

David Healy MBE from Killyleagh with Caragh Milligan at Windsor Park looking forward to the climb up Slieve Donard for Tiny Life.

“The event which will take place on Saturday 27th Augustxa0and aims to raise much needed funds for TinyLife who offer a wide range of support services free of charge to the families of babies who are born prematurely or who spend time in neonatal care.xa0 TinyLife services include home based volunteer support, breast pump hire and baby massage to name but a few and are available right across the province.”

Event organiser, Andrea Milligan said: “The Slieve Donard Challenge is an excellent event which appeals to so many participants for all sorts of reasons.xa0 Perhaps you would like to set yourself a personal challenge this year or maybe you are walking the route remembering the challenges your little one faced on their journey through neonatal.

“Whatever your reason, there is a real sense of achievement for one and all at the end of the challenge.xa0 TinyLife is already supporting an incredible number of families in Northern Ireland but signing up for events like the Slieve Donard Challenge ensures that we reach more families in their time of need”.

If this sounds like the challenge you have been waiting for then do not hesitate, sign up today!

TinyLife is offering two sign up options this year, either £40 non refundable registration fee with no sponsorship or £20 non refundable registration fee and £50 sponsorship.
