Down Arts Centre has introduced a brand new workshop for adults.
‘Free Motion Embroidery and Applique’ is an informative and practical workshop where you will learn the techniques of appliqué and the basics of free machine embroidery.
During the workshop you will be shown how to stitch onto a water-soluble fabric which can create beautiful effects. This is a fun and creative workshop not to be missed.
The workshop takes place on Saturday 22 April from 10am to 4pm with tutor Naomi Whan.
If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it along with some spare needles. If you don’t have a sewing machine, enquire at time of booking and we will try to make one available for you.
