115 Defibrillators For Sports Clubs in Newry Mourne and Down

 

Sport NI visited Newry Leisure Centre to distribute defibrillators to Sports Clubs who applied for them through a programme called ‘Defibrillators for Sport’.

115 defibrillators were allocated to sports clubs across the Newry Mourne and Down District Council area.

Newry Mourne and Down District Council Chairperson Councillor Gillian Fitzpatrick said: “I was very impressed with the turn out from Clubs who applied for these lifesaving machines.

“On behalf of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council I would like to thank Conleth Donnelly from Sport NI and Sport NI for their part in the important programme”.
