Councillor Willie Clarke on Shanslieve Drive in Newcastle.

Mournes Sinn Féin Councillor Willie Clarke has welcomed resurfacing work carried out to Shanslieve Drive in Newcastle.

Cllr Clarke said: ”I had been contacted by a number of residents regarding the poor condition of a section of Shanslieve Drive.

“Having viewed the poor state of the surface on the Shanslieve Drive, I shared the concerns voiced by residents of the area regarding its condition,This street is extremely well used, by local residents and visitors to Donard Forest.

“I would like to thank Transport NI official Hugh Morgan for his assistance that ensured the required infrastructure improvements have been carried out.”
