Downpatrick Lions have just launched their 2017 annual calendar featuring nostalgic photos of old Downpatrick.
This is the seventeenth year of publication and the venture is to raise money for Lions charities. Members of the Lions will be selling the calendars in Market Street during the last week of November and at Supervalu Ballymote from 2nd-5th December.
The calendar can also be purchased from the following shops – Tom’s Wine Barrel and Tels Newsagents, St Patrick’s Avenue; Oakley Fayre, Market Street; Mace Scotch Street; Connelly Ardmeen Green and Duffy’s Killough.
Don’t forget to buy your own copy and also some as Christmas presents as they are great value for money and wonderful reminders of past times.
