MLA’s are to take part in a blindfold lunch for Guide Dogs NI.

MLA’s will be invited to wear a blindfold during the lunch to experience, in a fun and relaxed environment, some of the challenges faced by people with sight loss on a daily basis. The campaigners will take this opportunity to speak with the MLAs about their personal experiences of living with sight loss, and their campaigning objectives.

Prior to the blindfold lunch, the Guide Dogs NI Campaigners will attend an Assembly Community Connect training session to learn about how the Assembly works, to better understand how they can campaign on their key issues.
