Kilkeel Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Arson Attack On Car

Police in Kilkeel are appealing for witnesses after a suspected arson attack on a car in the Abbey Park area in the early hours of Wednesday 17th August.

dn_screen2Police were called to the area shortly after 3.20am. A red Ford Focus car was completely destroyed in the blaze, which was extinguished by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Constable Coombs said: ““We are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact police Ardmore PSNI station on 101 quoting reference 122 of 17th August.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
