Police Appeal After Farm Burglary On Ballydonnell Road Near Downpatrick

Police in Downpatrick are investigating the report of a burglary at a farm on the Ballydonnell Road on Wednesday 3rd August (between Tyrella and the Ballydugan Road near Downpatrick.)

Detective Inspector Roberta Bolster said: “ It was reported to police that a barn was broken into sometime between Sunday 31st July and Monday 1st August.

“A quantity of Bectomax and Closamectin, which are drugs for use with cattle, have been reported stolen. These drugs are not for human consumption and I would ask anyone who may come into contact with them to call police immediately on 101 quoting reference 479 03/08/16.

“I would also appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area on Sunday or Monday to contact police.”
