Picturesque Three Lakes Run Now Open For Entries

Over the past three years, the xa0Downpatrick Lions Club have organised the Three Lakes Run and this years it will take place on Saturday 14th May starting at the Lakeside Inn at Ballydugan at 11am.

This highly successful run format is supported by the East Down Athletic Club who have once again got behind this popular event.

The route of the 15K run encompasses the picturesque route of Ballydugan, Magheralagan and Loughinisland lakes. For those who don’t feel like running this distance, there is also a 7K Fun Run. And if you don’t want to run you can take part in the 7K Fun Walk. So there’s something for everyone and a warm welcome is assured for all runners and walkers helping to raise funds for this excellent charity. Members of the public, friends and fans are all welcome.

Light refreshments will be available at the Lakeside Inn on the shores of Ballydugan Lake, an idyllic setting in which to wind down after your exertions round the three lakes.

The event will start at 11am from the historic Lakeside Inn outside Downpatrick.
