Narrow Water Bridge Receives Backing From Martina Anderson MEP

South Down Sinn Féin MLA Caitríona Ruane this evening welcomed the visit of Martina Anderson MEP to Warrenpoint Town Hall to meet with the Narrow Water Bridge Working Group. She said:xa0“Martina’s visit is further proof of Sinn Féin’s commitment to this project.

“The Narrow Water Bridge Working Group gave a presentation highlighting the importance of the bridge to tourism growth and development in South Down.

“The group continues to champion this important project, which promises to bring very significant tourism and economic benefits for the Mourne and Cooley regions.”

Caitríona Ruane added: “Sinn Féin will continue to work hard to deliver the Narrow Water Bridge in the Europe, Dublin, Belfast, as well at local authority level North and South.

“We fully appreciate how important this is to the development of the East Border Region.

“The cross party support for the Narrow Water Bridge is very positive and this leads me to believe that it will be delivered.”
