It’s all systems go now for the new season which will be commencing a bit earlier than normal due to the expanded number of teams in Divisions 1 & 2 writes Collie Quinn.
The likelihood is that SFL will be starting in early April though the PRFL will in all likelihood commence mid-February. All county underage games will be late March in all likelihood though all this is to be confirmed yet by CCC.
All senior footballers are reminded that Annual Membership is now due. Please make arrangements with Edel for payment before 1st PRFL game
Before the football, a few important dates for the diary.xa0On Friday 6 Feb,xa0we will be hosting the hilarious MoJo Mickey Bo. Tickets are £7 and available from Sunday17 January.
This Sunday sees the kick off for our Strictly Competitors when they get together for 1st Practice. We will then have the Reveal Night on 22 January. More details on Reveal Night to be posted on Facebook and next weeks notes.
The Semi finals will be on 12 & 19 March with the final on 2 April.
Club County Draw tickets are still available. This is a great way of supporting the RGU. Tickets are £120 or £10 monthly.
There is a monthly draw for great prizes as well as two super draws in June and December. Please see Marty Brady or Collie Quinn if interested.
Lotto: Numbers drawn were 7,16,23,25. Jackpot not won but three share £100 for getting 3 correct. Next weeks jackpot rises to £2000.
It is great to see former President Pat Oakes back out of hospital after his recent surgery. Looking forward to seeing him at PTR in the spring.
