Police Call For Information Following Dundrum Area Burglaries

dn_screenDetectives in Downpatrick are investigating a number of burglaries in the Dundrum area and have made an appeal for information.

Detective Constable James Bingham said: “There was a burglary in the Dromara Road area of Dundrum on Tuesday 1st December. A second burglary was reported to have occurred at commercial premises on the Dromara Road, Dundrum, and a small sum of cash was taken.

There was also an attempt to enter an outbuilding in the Dromara Road. This was reported to Police shortly before 1pm, however, we believe this is linked to the overnight burglaries in the area.

Detectives from Downpatrick Reactive and Organised Crime are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information.

The number to call is 101. Alternatively information can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
