Police Appeal Following Castlewellan Road Accident Leaving Man Critical

dn_screenPolice in Down are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Castlewellan at the weekend.

Around 11.20am on Saturday 17 October, a silver Mercedes car was in collision with a 34-year old male pedestrian on Mill Hill. The pedestrian sustained injuries to his pelvis, abdomen and head and his condition is described as critical but stable.

Inspector Mark Peters of Down NPT, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this collision or has information that might help our investigation. We can be contacted on 101.”
