Ruane Calls For Attacks On Irish Language Signs To Stop

dn_screenSinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane has condemned the damage to an Irish language sign on the main Hilltown to Mayobridge Road.

Ms Ruane said: “As with all kinds of vandalism, I condemn in the strongest possible terms the destruction of Irish language signs.

“I urge all those involved to stop this anti-social behaviour. The Irish language belongs to everyone in our society and I would ask anyone with information on these attacks to contact the PSNI.”
