Sports Clubs Invited To Feature In Free Local Directory in Ards And North Down

Local clubs can sign up for free to be part of a borough wide sports directory for 2015 – 2016, being organised by Ards and North Down Borough Council. dn_screenThe directory will help local sports clubs to promote their activities while providing residents with easily accessible and up-to-date information on the the range of sports clubs operating across Ards and North Down. Speaking about the sports directory, Mayor of Ards and North Down, Alderman Alan Graham, said: xa0“Ards and North Down is a thriving area when it comes to sports provision, with many excellent amateur and competitive clubs. The Sports Directory is just one of the ways the Council supports these groups. It provides a valuable resource that helps parents to find suitable sports activities for their children to get involved in while promoting clubs and hopefully boosting their numbers.” The directory, which will be updated annually by the Council, will be located at council offices and facilities including visitor information centres, leisure centres and community centres. The Sports Directory will also be available online at:
