Glasdrumman GAC Notes For 10 August 2015

The U-12’s return to action this Sunday away to Burren in the first game of the Summer League. All players should attend training tonight (Wednesday) at the usual time of 6pm – 7.30pm at the Quarter Road Pitch. Details of travel arrangements for Sunday’s game will be given at training writes Tony Bannon.xa0

dn_screenWe have been offered 5 places on the U-12 Croke Park Activity Day on Tuesday 18th August. The players selected are the 5 oldest U-12 players, Eoin, Seán, Darragh, Cormac and Ollie. Johnny has very kindly offered to drive the bus for us. Full details will be given at training.

The U-10′;s have 2 tournaments in August…..the first one is Saturday 22 August in Atticall and the second one is Saturday 29 August in Glenn. It is important that all U-10’s attend training on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7pm to prepare for these tournaments.

The Manic Monday sessions are coming to an end unfortunately. The younger group had their trip on Monday to “Funny Farm Adventures Maize Maze”. A great day was had by all. A huge thank you to Alan Blakley who made our visit so enjoyable. The older group are having their trip to Lisburn Swimming Pool on Monday 17 August. Details will be on our Facebook page during the week.

Our Senior team’s Junior Championship campaign has gotten off to a promising start, with a well earned win against Dundrum at the Quarter Road. Final Score Glasdrumman 1-17 Dundrum 0-08. Next Game away on Friday night 14 August to Bright in the league.
