“It is sure to complement the high quality work carried out in the public realm scheme work that has been done. Transport NI have said that to facilitate the resurfacing works and minimise disruption the street will be closed from 8.00pm to 6.00am during the period from Monday 17 August to Friday 27 August 2015.
The works will be carried out in three stages:- * Windmill Street to Church Street * Windmill Street to Main Street * Lisburn Street to Main Street eastbound
“During the works traffic will be diverted via A49 and B177 Lisburn Road, U0030 Riverside Road, B7 Dromore Road and Dromore Street, U0167 Grove Road, B175 Spa Road, A24 Church Road and Church Street.
“This 10 days may be troublesome, but anyone who knows this stretch of road, knows how urgently needed this work is and I would congratulate Hugh Morgan and those who are making sure that it is happening. I would ask businesses in the area to be patient and the good thing to note is that the work is to take place through the night to minimize disruption and this is to be welcomed. Well done to all involved.
