Make A Date For Imagine Arts Festival 2015

The past catches up with the present as memories are brought back to life at Imagine Arts Festival 2015 – the only event of its kind in Northern Ireland – taking place at The Ulster Hall on Tuesday 20 October.

This unique festival is an opportunity for older people to turn back the clock and recapture special experiences, memories, interests and skills during a packed programme of captivating cultural events and workshops.

Festival goers will take a nostalgic trip down memory lane to revisit the sights, sounds, fashions and culture of magical bygone eras, from the unmistakable big band sounds and dancehall grooves of the fabulous Forties and Fifties to the melodies, riffs and rhythms of the iconic swinging Sixties.

For many people the Imagine Arts Festival at The Ulster Hall represents an extra special opportunity to recreate and share the excitement, fun and atmosphere of special times ‘back in the day’ at the very venue where the original memories were made!

Imagine Arts Festival 2015 highlights already confirmed include the Imagine Ukulele Orchestra, the Imagine Chorus, a Sixties and Seventies disco, the ever-popular Tea Dances and Storytelling.

Participants will enjoy a range of captivating workshops, from photography and art to creative writing and dancing, providing opportunities to brush up on old skills and hobbies… and discover new ones!

Drop in Creative Stations will provide details on a wide variety of absorbing activities and skills, and information stands will offer support and advice from organisations and agencies offering projects and services for older people.
