South Down Alliance Westminster election candidate Martyn Todd has handed in his nomination papers nomination at the Banbridge Electoral Office.
Accompanied by his election agent Mary Smyth-Farr,xa0Martyn Todd said:xa0“I am xa0delighted to be officially nominated on behalf of the Alliance Party and I am looking forward to taking the message of a better, shared Northern Ireland to the electorate.
“Across Northern Ireland people have been responding to the positive message that Alliance stands for and this has been reflected in the warm reception I have received from local people.
“While others want to take Northern Ireland backwards, only Alliance is focussed on taking it forward. That’s why you can trust your Alliance representatives at Westminster to speak out on your behalf and be prepared to take the tough decisions necessary to build a more inclusive Northern Ireland.”
