Ritchie Calls For Council To Clear Up At Comber Park In Drumaness

dn_screenMargaret Ritchie MP for South Down has clled upon the Council to clean up in Cumber Park, Drumaness.

Down District Council are now set for a clean-up operation to take place after Margaret Ritchie MP brought the issue to their attention concerning the poor condition of the estate.

Ms Eitchie said: “I was aware Cumber Park was experiencing problems with litter, waste being dumped and weeds on the kerb line. Therefore I brought this to the attention of the Down District Council.”

“As a result of this, I am delighted to announce that the Council has confirmed their responsibility for the removal of detritus which lies with them and they are now are in the process of cleaning up Cumber Park. I know this announcement will be most welcome to the residents of Cumber Park and Drumaness.”
