“u200eThis has been an ongoing problem particularly at weekends and during the tourist season with vehicles parking on the grassed area which forces walkers and pedestrians onto the road. Drivers also park on the road and footpath directly in front of residential properties.”

“Currently the Estates Department of the National Trust are aware of the issue of vehicle parking and are trying to address the matter.”

“I have raised the concerns of local residents living at Keel Point and asked the National Trust to consider signage to inform people not to park vehicles on the grassed area.

“I have also contacted Roads Service about the problem of drivers ignoring the double yellow lines on the road at Keel Point and drivers parking in front of residential properties and on the footpath which Roads Service are now going to u200einvestigate.”
