Saturday night saw the first semi final of Bright’s Strictly take place, with the first six couples taking to the stage. It was a fantastic night, and well done to all those dancers who took part and to the three couples who got through to the Final, David and Louise, Daniel and Jenny and Noel and Danielle writes Ciara Sharvin.
The second semi-final takes place this Saturday 11 October. There are tickets still available or you can pay at the door. There is also a special promotion thanks to Downpatrick Racecourse whereby the audience members that attend get a free pass to the race meeting on 17 October, so if you attend the race meeting you will then be entered into a draw for a TV. Don’t miss out on a great nights craic and this great added special offer.
This years adult presentation night will take place on Saturday 22 November in Ardglass Golf Club. Tickets are £15 a head which includes 2 course meal and entertainment. Please contact Marty Ranaghan if you want a ticket or Ladies let Chris Tumelty know. The Juvenille presentation will take place on Friday 10 October at 6pm in Bright Community Hall.
The Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 28 Nobember at 7.30pm in Bright Community Hall. It would be great to see some new faces and get some new ideas and perspective for the incoming year. Many hands make light work, lets not leave all the work up to the same few.
Thanks to all those who took part in the Minerstown Tractor Run on Saturday, who successfully raised £230 for Marie Curie.
