Ulster Hall Organic Lunches are back! Music lovers can look forward to three more uplifting lunchtime concerts by popular organists playing The Ulster Hall’s iconic Mulholland Grand Organ in October and November.
The Mulholland Grand Organ is the star during this unique lunchtime mini-series which features organists Colm Carey, David Adams and Emma Gibbons – three Friday feasts of music for just £5 per concert!

Belfast City Organist, Colm Carey plays Alain and Guilmant on Friday 3 October. Colm is one of a handful of distinctive concert organists who have set out to promote the instrument in a fresh way, widening its appeal through imaginative programming and championing the instrument`s remarkable breadth of repertoire.
David Adams plays Lemmens, Lefébure-Wély, Langlais, Messiaen and Franck on Friday 24 October. David is organist of Christ Church Taney and St. Nahi’s in Dublin. Since his début recital at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, at the age of 16, he has performed throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe, is a regular guest at major international festivals and performs with all the Irish orchestras. As a conductor he has worked with the Ulster Orchestra, English Touring Opera, Opera Theatre Company, The Orchestra of St. Cecilia and the Irish Baroque Orchestra.
Emma Gibbons plays Bach, Glass and Wammes on Friday 28 November. Emma is Director of Music at St. George’s Church in Belfast. She also teaches piano and organ, works as a piano accompanist in the Music Department at Queen`s University, directs the Belfast Phoenix choir and accompanies the St George`s Singers.
The Mulholland Grand Organ has been the heartbeat of The Ulster Hall throughout the venue’s 150 year history. Arguably Belfast’s most famous instrument, it has long been recognised as one of the finest examples of classical organ building.
