Glasdrumman GAC Notes For 14 September 2014

Congratulations to the Down Camogie Girls on becoming Junior All Ireland Premier champions – well done to all the players , coaches and management.

The Under-11’s are in action tonight (Wednesday) with their first league game against Attical with.a 6.45pm throw in.

The minibus will leave from the Halfway at 6.10pm and Pat’s Road at 6.20pm writes xa0John Bannon.

dn_screenUnder-11 training will continue at the Quarter Road pitch from 6 pm until 7.30pm on Thursday night as usual. It is a busy week for the Under-11’s as they have their first home game against Mitchels on Sunday at 11.00am. Details will be given at training.

Youth club commences this Friday night with the first group (p1-p5) from 7pm until 8pm, and the second group(p6 and up) from 8pm until 9.15. The second group should wear old clothes and bring a towel as we are taking part in a series of water challenges.

The new half zip and training tops are now available to order. Contact Catherine, Jen or any committee member.

Scor na nOG practice will continue this week in the Clubrooms on Friday starting at 6.30 pm until 8. Tus Maith is leath na hOibre and a good start was made last Friday . Thanks to all who attended the practice and got us off to such a great beginning to an enthusiastic journey.

Glasdrumman GAC extends Congratulations to the the U-16 Ballymartin Ladies’ team who made it through to the B Championship County final after a nail-biting two point victory over Rostrevor. We would encourage people to come out and support this team and its mentors ( including our very own Declan Grant ) in the Final.
