Newcastle Police Appeal After Hit And Run In August

dn_screenPolice in Newcastle are appealing for information following a hit and run road traffic collision in the town on 29 August.

Constable Rob Keogh explained: “At approximately 3.30pm, there was a collision involving a motorcycle and a blue coloured VW Passat in the Central Promenade area during which the motorcyclist sustained a broken collar bone. The driver of the other vehicle did not stop.

“I am investigating this and would appeal to anyone with any information or anyone who witnessed the collision to contact me at Newcastle police station on the non-emergency number 101.”
