Ballynahinch Police Appeal After Note Left On Car At Local Lake

Police in Ballynahinch are appealing for information following an incident in the Dunmore Road area of Spa on Sunday 22 June.

dn_screenSometime between 10:30am and 11am, a note with explicit language was left on the car of a woman who had parked at a picnic spot in the area while she took her children to the nearby lake.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and noticed any suspicious activity or anyone with information to contact them. A white coloured car and a black Volkswagen Golf or Polo were parked in the carpark at the time and police would be particularly keen to speak to the driver of the black VW vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Ballynahinch on the non-emergency number 101.
