Police Appeal After Bus Assault Going From Downpatrick To Castlewellan

POLICE in Newcastle are appealing for information following an assault on Friday 6 June.dn_screen

A 17-year-old male was assaulted by a group on a bus that was travelling from Downpatrick to Castlewellan/Newcastle at 9.30pm.

A number of other passengers were on the bus at the time and police are keen to hear from them. Anyone with information is asked to contact police in Newcastle on the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, information about crime can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers by telephoning 00800 555 111.
