Hughes Calls For Recycling Facility In Saintfield
Sinn Féin local election candidate Eddie Hughes has written to Down District Council requesting that they urgently address the lack of adequate recycling facilities in Saintfield.
Mr Hughes said:xa0″For some time now people in Saintfield have been forced to drive to nearby towns in order to recycle their glass and other materials.
“I have spoken to many frustrated residents on doorsteps recently who agree with me that a town the size of Saintfield should have suitable recycling facilities available for local usage.”
Mr Hughes added:xa0″I have now written requesting that they explore ways in which such amenities can be facilitated in Saintfield as soon as possible.”
