The Under 10’s travelled to Dundrum on Saturday to start their 2014 season.xa0 They playedxa0xa0 Bredaghxa0 first whoxa0 proved to be a very skilful and hardworking team.xa0 The Johnnies managed to contain the scoring threat of the accurate and nippy Bredagh forwards with superb defending by Adam Walsh and Daire Cahill.xa0 Next up were Dundrum who were very strong.

The Johnnies steadied themselves and Donal Rogan in goal and Sam O’Connor and Christopher Cope in defence starred and they gave the Dundrum boys and girls a good game. xa0The final game was against Aughlisnafin and again it looks like Ryan Morgan and Aaron Kelly are going to have another great year withxa0long range scoring and pinpoint passing helpingxa0Oisin Hastings, Lile Branniff and Katie McCannxa0to get into the games.

Oran Branniff and Peter Walsh and covered a lot of ground and Eoin McMullan was strong and steady. xa0This was a great team effort and we look forward to an enjoyable season ahead.
