MP Welcomes Progress On Pedestrian Crossing In Clough Village

dn_screenSDLP MP Margaret Ritchie has welcomed a commitment from DOE Roads Service that it is pursuing a pedestrian crossing at Main Street, Clough.

Ms Ritchie said: xa0“I had raised the need for this crossing in view of the re-location of the Post Office in the village, which means that more pedestrians will be in the vicinity.

“I am pleased that that request is now in Roads Service’s priority list for the Down Council area, and the necessary on-site investigations will be carried out.

“I will continue to lobby the Department to request that this scheme is realised as soon as possible.”
