“In response, Roads Service has confirmed that it will carry out an inspection and will identify and repair potholes in accordance with its Maintenance Guidelines.

“In addition, Roads Service has indicated that it will carry out weed spraying at the Marshallstown Road, and when this treatment takes effect, the Department will manually scrape and clean the carriageway.

“I hope that this will result in improved conditions for roadusers at this location,” added Ms Ritchie.
