Bryansford GAC Notes 16/2/2014

Congratulations to the club’s Scor ballad group of Michael Valentine, Clare Cunningham, Orla Cunningham and Louise Brady who have progressed to the county final. This will take place at 6pm in St. Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan and the club would encourage members to offer their support. Commiserations also to Carol Anne McKay who lost narrowly in the recitation writes Ronan McVeigh

Another opportunity for juvenile registration from Under-6 up to minors will take place this Friday in the Social Club between 7pm and 8pm – it is important all juveniles are registered to compete in Gaelic Games. Adult membership is currently being collected and is available any Sunday night from 8.30pm.dn_screen

Child protection training on Thursday 6xa0March in Bryansford GAC. All coaches requiring this training, or refresher training to contact Sean McKay or Catriona Rice. It is assumed after this date that all coaches have been trained with no exceptions to be made. Anyone not available for this date to attend Castlewellan GAC this Friday at 7:30pm for training.

P 5 and 6 training continues on Saturdays in the Sports Hall at 3pm. U14 and U16 girls training every Thursday night at 6pm.

The Minors will train at Donard Park on Thursday at 6.30pm. This Sunday sees the Senior team travel to Corrigan Park Belfast to play St John’s with a mid-day throw in. Last week’s game against Ardboe fell victim of the weather and will be re-fixed. The ACPRFL commences on 16 March with the ACFL to begin on the 11xa0April.
