In a very tight competition xa0our Solo xa0Singer xa0Antaine did the Club xa0proud xa0with his rendition of xa0’Carrickfergus’ xa0unfortunately xa0this is far as he goes in this category this year. xa0After xa0a very hasty “rehearsal” in the interval xa0our Ballad Group made up of Antaine, Donna Feeney and newcomer to the competition xa0Declan Grant xa0took xa0to the stage and sang xa0’Will ye xa0go lassie go’ and ‘The Fields of Athenry’ and earned themselves a place in the South Down Final thisxa0Sunday 9 xa0Februaryxa0in St. Mark’s Warrenpoint . Our Quiz team will be in action in the same venue atxa03.00p.m.xa0xa0and the rest of the Final will start atxa05.00 p.m.xa0It would be great to see as many supporters there as possible.xa0We wish Shane, Connaire and the rest of the County team xa0well in the National League campaign .
