Bright GAC Club Notes For 3/2/14

The club would like to offer its condolences to the family of Neville Harbour, brother-in-law of club member Brendan Sharvin. May he rest in peace.

Ladies training continues as follows: Tuesday meet at 7pm in car park behind bus station for training to commence at 7.15pm, Friday in Bright Community Hall, Ballynoe, meet at 7.20pm for training to commence at 7.30pm and Sunday out on the pitch meet at 9.50am for training to commence at 10am.

Training for the senior men will start on Sunday 16 February at 2pm out on the pitch. All new players are welcome.

The Club would like to thank Delia McLaughlin for resurrecting Scor in the club.xa0 She was able to gather a ballet group and recitation for Sunday nights performance and next week we have a Quiz group aswell as a solo singer in Mary Angela McCartan.

With the 2014 season upon us it is now time for all memberships to be renewed.xa0 Prices are as follows; Under 10s – £10, Juvenille – £20, Adult player – £50, Adult non player – £30, Student (must have valid student ID) – £25, Senior Citizen – £15, Family – £70 (2 adults & 2 Children – non playing) then £5 per child thereafter.xa0 There is also the option to get free membership by entering into the Down County Draw at a price of £10 per month Direct Debit.

This draw gives you the chance to win some great money prizes as well as supporting your own club.xa0 All memberships need to be paid before 1st March.xa0 If you want to avail of the Down County Draw you will need to let a member of the committee know before the last week in January and pay your first £10 installment in cash, then Direct Debit payments will take over from February.

Lotto results for 2/2/2014 were 9, 11, 14, 21.xa0 Three people had three numbers and the Jackpot is now £3800.
