Saintfield Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

A woman was convicted at Downpatrick Crown Court today for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.dn_screen Julie Wright (48) of Fair Green Terrace, Saintfield claimed Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £40,093 while failing to declare capital. She was given 180 hours community service. She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
